Nicole Y. Oglesby, MA currently serves as the Program Director for the IU K-12 Student Success Corps, a tutoring, mentoring, family engagement, college and career readiness program and the Director of P-20 Educational Alliances within the Division of Enrollment Management at Indiana University Indianapolis (IU Indy). She has over 30 years of experience working in higher education at public universities. Nicole has worked in Student Affairs, in federal TRIO programs, namely Upward Bound and Student Success Services, led a 2.5-million-dollar federal community schools grant on the near east side of Indianapolis, and built strong internal and external campus community partnerships with other IU campuses across the state, K-12 schools, community-based organizations, and industry.
As a proud alum of Indianapolis Public School-George Washington HS, Nicole was a first-generation college student who earned a BA in Sociology from Hanover College (Hanover, IN) and an MA in Higher Education Administration from Southeast Missouri State University (Cape Girardeau, MO). She believes in the adage, “Knowledge is Power”!
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Nicole is a boy mom to four sons and a new Gigi her grandson, Jeo. She enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, and watching football.
